Qualifications
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as an equipment operator, preferably in an environmental or construction setting.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and trucks.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- High attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and schedules.
- Prior experience in environmental engineering or related fields is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain various heavy equipment such as bulldozers, mini excavators, loaders, and trucks to facilitate environmental engineering projects.
- Safely and efficiently perform excavation, grading, trenching, and other tasks necessary for site preparation and restoration.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Assist in manual labor tasks as needed, including lifting, digging, and general construction activities.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Complete necessary paperwork, documentation, and logbooks related to equipment operation and project tasks.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CDL-Licensed Equipment Operator and Laborer to join our reputable environmental engineering and geotech company.

Other Requirements
You must be able to successfully pass Mid-South Testing’s pre-employment background check and drug screening. This position regularly requires intermittent sitting, standing, walking, running, climbing, squatting, and kneeling. Physical strength and dexterity sufficient to perform the required task. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds or more with assistance.
